Nominations were called to fill four positions on the Trust in accordance with the rotation provision of the Trust Deed. One member representing each Ngāti Hinerangi marae.
The following nominations have been received:
Te Ōhākī Marae– James Aoake
– Te Waiheruata Rāwiri
Hinerangi Tāwhaki Marae– Roger Whakaruru-Thompson
– Chris Wilson
As more than one nomination was received for both Te Ōhākī and Hinerangi Tāwhaki, an election is required.
Adult registered members of the Trust with Te Ōhākī or Hinerangi Tāwhaki listed as their primary marae as at the close of nominations, will receive voting packs and be eligible to vote.
Voting Opens on Friday 11 July, 2025 and will close at 5pm, Friday 8 August 2025.

Tamapango Marae– Peri Mason
As only one valid nomination was received for the one available vacancy for Tangata Marae, Tōmai Smith is declared elected unopposed.

There is no election required for Tangata or Tamapango. Registered adult members who have Tangata or Tamapango as their primary Marae will not receive voting packs as no election is
required.
