Te Puāwaitanga o Ngāti Hinerangi iwi Trust
Our objective is to further advance the vision of our iwi – Whakatupuranga 2075. This involves restoring our ahurea, taiao, hauora, wāhi whakahirahira and much more.
Step by step, generation after generation, we aim to build a brighter future for our people and community.
We currently have three workstreams that aim to deliver transformative change.
- Wairere Mahi, a labour and maintenance team specialising in environmental restoration.
- Wairere Toi works in the field of cultural revitalisation teaching mātauranga Māori including kapa haka, reo and mentoring through a te ao Māori lens.
- Wairere Ako supports whānau to successfully to navigate the education system which can often be a difficult or confusing space.
